A professional bonsai
artist, he is versatile, an innovator, he is well known and sought world-wide
as a demonstrator and speaker.
He has held seminars
at the Faculty of Architecture in Milan, and demonstrations at the La Sapienza
University in Rome.
He is the founder of
Studio Botanico, the only bonsai school officially recognised by the Italian
Bonsai association (UBI) and the first Italian space dedicated entirely to
teaching the art of bonsai, which has become a point of reference for bonsai
amateurs and professionals from many countries. He is as well the artistic
director and Master of the EEBF (Ecole Europeenne Bonsai France), the first
international bonsai school in France.
A promoter of Italian
bonsai abroad, he has taken care of the special edition of the magazine of the
BCI (Bonsai Club International) dedicated to Italy, as the "Guest editor".
He has received
recognition on a national and international scale, he has been awarded the BCI
"Writers and Photographers Award", the FFB (Fédération Française de Bonsai)
award for contributing to the growth of French bonsai, and two UBI (Unione
Bonsaisti Italiani) prizes .
In 2001, he
represented Italy at the World Congress in Munich, in Germany. During such
important event he presented his firs book "Bonsai Spirit and Substance",
edited in five languages.
In 2002 he represented
the Italian bonsai at the "First African Bonsai Convention".
